Pelham marionettes were an invention of Bob Pelham when he first started making characters that could move with all the materials he could get his hands on during the World War. This then led to a business when Pelham realized he wanted to entertain people through puppet characters. When Pelham would have a few dozen, he would set up small stalls at races until the demand increased, and he established a small team to found 'Pelham Puppets.' This is a great piece of history and a wonderful invention that entertains people during and after the World War.
This is a Pelham 'Girl' Puppet also known as Mitzi.
