🎥 Canon Motor Zoom 8 EEE | 8mm film camera from the 70s 🕵️ Quality of this camera: - The camera is in reasonable cosmetic condition, and receives a rating of: silver ; - The camera tested with batteries, all functions work; - The battery holder is a little bit dirty; - The functions of the camera have been tested and are working. 📄Information about the camera: The arrival of more powerful batteries in 1959 offered new possibilities for film cameras. Canon seized this opportunity with both hands and introduced the Cine EEE, a camera that combined ease of use and functionality in a compact design. The Cine EEE distinguished itself from traditional cameras by the use of an electric motor instead of a spring motor. This resulted in a significantly longer film runtime and optimal battery usage. The zoom function and exposure control (EE: Electric Eye, now AE or Automatic Exposure) were also electrically controlled, allowing for a compact design. The camera was equipped with a 4x zoom lens with a fast aperture of f/1.7. Two external levers facilitated aperture control, making automatic and manual exposure and fade effects easy to achieve. The addition of a film rewind button completed the camera. These innovative features made the Cine EEE an ideal camera for both beginners and advanced film enthusiasts. The user-friendly controls and versatile functions made filming more accessible than ever before.
